At KQCBW, several Fraunhofer Institutes and research partners from politics, science, and industry are pooling their expertise for the development and application of quantum computers for research, education, development, services, and production. In doing so, they are addressing the sectors that are particularly important in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg: information technology, medical technology, chemistry, finance, mechanical engineering, production, automotive, and logistics. As part of the QuantumBW state initiative office, the KQCBW is also actively involved in expanding Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg as a center for quantum technology.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Harnessing the potential of quantum computers and achieving a real advantage for practical applications \u2013 this goal is being pursued worldwide. In Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, the \u201cCompetence Center for Quantum Computing Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg\u201d (KQCBW) has been committed to this goal for the past four years. Successful joint projects have led to major advances in various areas of quantum computing.
